Chase Manhattan

Chase Manhattan leads the stage at the acclaimed Hollywood Honky Tonk, Desert 5 Spot, with his blend of outlaw country rock and soul covers and presents the venue’s signature show along with super band The Desert 5 All-Stars who are respectively known far beyond the city limits. The group is comprised of lead guitarist Brian Whelan (known for his work with Dwight Yoakum, Shooter Jennings, and Whitey Morgan), pedal steel player Matt Pynn (with credits on Kelly Clarkson, The Voice, and Nikki Lane projects), drummer Luke Adams (who has worked with Jakob Dylan, Brandon Flowers, and Pete Yorn), and bassist Andy Keathy (formerly of The Get Down Boys and The Brevet).

Desert 5 All Star shows are notable for their special guests and high octane surprises, and have been a launch pad for hot up-and-coming artists on the country scene. This Next Fest LA show will feature fan favorites including the one & only DINER & Tyler Perry of the Holy Neighbors (both of whom are hot off the Stagecoach Music Festival stage), the smashing Sugarmill Slim with his glittered harmonica, the soulful songbird Ali Angel, and a local country star Steve Cortez.
