DJ Max Maxtofferson was born in Northern California, inland from the Bay, but considers himself a Southern boy.
He comes from a nomadic family who lived everywhere south of the 10 freeway between California and Florida. He thinks this contributed to his affinity for Waylon, Willie, and rough whiskey.
He began DJing as a justification for his severe vinyl addiction and spins HonkyTonk/Outlaw around Los Angeles.
