Karina Magallon
Born in Houston, TX, now based in Los Angeles, Karina is a Panamanian-American artist/songwriter that creates Spanglish Latin RnB romantic music.
She has been recognized as a finalist for the Grammy U Songwriting Showcase 2021, a semi-finalist in the Latin music genre at the International Songwriting Competition 2022, and performed during the SXSW festival 2023. She is also a music graduate from Belmont University in Nashville, TN.
As an artist and songwriter, she’s intimately involved in every step of the creative process both musically and lyrically. She also does vocal engineering/arranging/comping for her music.
Known for her powerful stage presence, beautiful vocal agility, Spanglish lyrics, and feel-good message, Karina is an artist to watch.
Her latest release “Lucid Dreaming” has been featured on several Spotify Editorial Playlists including “New Music Friday Latin”,” Fresh Finds Latin”, and “Made”. She also has gotten 100k views for her live performances of her original songs on TikTok. She has performed at venues such as the Hotel Cafe, Hotel Ziggy, the Mint etc. She is also a songwriter for film and television and is currently writing 10 songs for ESPN Music.
