The Wren

The Wren

Though currently based in Los Angeles, The Wren draws her name from the official bird of Arizona, her home state. As a singer/songwriter, she pairs contemplative lyrics with intimate vocals and guitar to tell stories that give voice to her innermost thoughts.

A performer since childhood, The Wren began playing guitar and writing songs seriously at the age of 12. Over the past decade, she’s performed in school musicals,

church bands, and as a student in courses at the USC Thornton School of Music while

earning her degree from the School of Cinematic arts. In adulthood, she’s found her

sound in the singer/songwriter genre, best suited for her warm vocals and personal

storytelling.

Her influences include Lizzy McAlpine, Joni Mitchell, Ryan Beatty, and Fleetwood

Mac artists who excel in storytelling, erring on the side of warmth and melancholy.

She prides herself in taking the painful parts of her life and creating something beautiful out of them, a philosophy that led to the creation of her 2024 debut EP, this is gonna hurt.

Following the EP release, The Wren is working on new material to share throughout 2024, as well as playing local shows in the LA music scene.
