Parnassus & Co
Date: Sat, May 10
Stage: Farm
Parnassus and Co was founded in 2021 by Paul Kirz, Jr. and Jessica Gerhardt to provide opportunities to support artists and build community. P&C is a collective of artists centered around cultivating authentic connection and inspiring artistic expression for creatives of all
media and skill levels. We believe that creativity is intrinsic to all people. We seek to help creatives connect on a human level first, putting branding/business second. We facilitate concerts, workshops, book groups, meetups, festivals, and other various events for our local artist community, and we co-facilitate and co-sponsor events with other organizers and curators. We value inclusion, diversity, and uplifting quality artistry. For more information, follow us at @parnassusandco on Instagram or email us at parnassusandco@gmail.com.
LA-native singer-songwriter and recording artist Jessica Gerhardt (she/her) creates music ranging from intimate ukulele-driven folk to anthemic indie rock, ultimately anchored by her gentle yet resonant alto vocals. Gerhardt draws inspiration from the symbols of her Catholic and Jewish heritage, exploring love, grief, hope, and belonging through a queer, feminist lens. Jessica is a sponsored Lanikai Ukuleles artist and co-founder of the arts collective Parnassus & Co. Whether she’s performing or organizing community arts events, Jessica believes, “Good art points beyond itself, to the transcendent, to being lifted up.” Follow her at @jgerhardtmusic on Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok.
