Hello my name is Cuauhtemoc Molina. I’ve been playing music since I was in 8th grade. After playing in a few bands, I
decided to start a new project under the nickname my parents gave me, CHAPIS. My parents thought I was going to be short and chubby so they started calling me Chapis as a baby. Now it’s become a name that I’ve fully embraced. Chapis officially began back in 2019 with my first EP release, La Boca. Since then we have released a couple music videos, a few singles, and a full length album. We’ve had a few rotating band members who have recorder and/or played live with us. Some of them include, Emmanuel Pedroza, Christian Orozoco, GP Anderson, Anthony Beville, and Miguel Partida. Lately, I’ve been writing and producing for other artist at my studio in Lon Beach. While I know I will always werite songs under Chapis, it’s been great writing with other artists for their projects.
