Ulises started his musical career in 2002 with a group named “Mad Marionettes”. His interest in the arts originated at an early age, He was initially influenced by his father who is a painter and muralist, as well as a boleros guitar player. Throughout the years he has worked on poetry, acting, dance and several musical projects that now influence his compositions and performances with “El Santo Golpe”. Some of his work has being recognized in media such as “IE Weekly”, “LA Weekly”, “OC Weekly” and most recently had the opportunity of showing his work at the world recognized theater of “Bellas Artes” in Mexico City (2016).
In 2023, one of his original compositions titled “La Cosecha” created alongside with El Santo Golpe, was featured in a #1 Netflix film, “A Man Called Otto”. Now he explores the DJ world under the name of “Santo G” with a curated mix of musical sounds that inspire him as one of the main organizers of MUCHO GUSTO FEST.
